Against each other

How we are better

With another

But you can’t forget what happened

Tell her that I am your lover

I was the girl you cuddled

But now we're lost in the struggle,

Our hearts wrapped in a tangled muddle.

She doesn't know the fire we sparked,

Or how deep these feelings are marked.

Every time you look at her,

You seeing me, don’t you?

In her eyes, in her smile,

Can you feel my presence too?

I’m just talking nonsense,

If you’re happy, what can I say?

'Cause I love to see you smile,

Even if it's not with me today.
